Nathan will love your old Singer. $80 for a complete overhaul, a real bargain. Easy to find, a few blocks from Good Sam hospital in Los Gatos. Your singer will . . . well, it's inevitable, I suppose - your Singer will sing!

How wonderful to find a repair shop that will actually repair your old (vintage, even) machine without trying to sweet-talk you into upgrading to a $5K new one! That used to annoy the pants off me when I'd take my c1975 Singer in for cleaning. It did everything I wanted without complaining. I've now gor two over $1K machines, and neither of them makes nice entredeux!
My daughter has the singer, and I don't think i'm getting it back.

Ah, too bad we hadn't found Nathan when you were here. He would have loved your Singer. Did you look at the web site? It's slow to load, but you will find yourself drooling.
