Post☆005: who are you to judge?

The title says all XD Well, let's explain.

I really hate my classmates. They judge me because of the marks I get: since I am good at school this year, they believe I am a sort of hikikomori with no interest and so on. Meh... this generation totally sucks. Majority of people around my age in Italy likes only going to the disco to get drunk and fuck ( Read more... )

The best thing I can advise is to stay true to who you are, and it sounds like you already do that. People like to poke at things that are different from them, which makes it hard to like different things. Try not to hate your classmates, though. Hating them for being ignorant or closed minded doesn't really change the fact that they are, but it sure does amp up your personal stress level.

Is liking concerts, films, or video games strange? Nope, not in my opinion. You like what you like. End of story. If you're happy (and staying legal, lol), that's all that matters.

I like different. Different is interesting. Just my 2 cents as an American middle-ager. :)

Best wishes to you!

I have tried many times, but it's really difficult when they stole your books just because you take high marks. I really don't get their behaviour, it can't be justified... Luckily not everyone is like that, but since my class is really small (we're 15), the percentual is really high XD'

Indeed, I don't understand why they should consider me an "outsider" just because I don't follow trends like them. Yesterday I didn't feel bad and nobody asked me how I was, I feel like I don't belong to that class. I won't change it anyway because professors are really good and I don't see any point to do it just for them...

Thanks a lot for your comment, I really appreciated it!
