Journalising

I have kept a 5-year-diary since 10. A 5-year diary is specific: only 4 tiny narrow lines, a tiny narrow page - there's room for nothing other than jotting down 'events.' I chose it for a reason back then which stuck. Despite unfortunate supplementary 'journals' running alongside but really - to the bonfire! So I can account for every single day of ( Read more... )

years, years i wrote a diary, you know, i'm so repetitive.

then for one year i wrote to O only;
then my life was another life as i entered the land of single parenting, when my son was 9 months, my daughter 2;
and then, for a time, for the first time since age 5, i stopped.

it will come back, like it or not.

i know that scream.

I hate the not-writing. The writing is rarely what I want it to be, and it's so much better than nothing.

How is that eye?

Yes, even squeezing out a few words here is better than nothing.

The eye is, I think, I wishfully think, a bit better ...

despite my appalling memory...
I live so much inside my dreamworld in my mind that I lose facts from the outside world at a phenomenal rate...

Me too. I am a walking dream. Or nightmare some might say. : )

But I'm glad you remember. I've really never done it since. Really. Only internally.
