This showed up on my...what is it called? Dash? These are so gorgeous! My favourites are 3, 4, 8, 16, and 20. I also very much love #2 from the Blacklist (though recently I have found this show hard to take) and I love #2 from White Collar. :)
I thought that The Blacklist has been improving since it came back from hiatus. the ending episodes of season 3 before the break were tough though. Have you seen the latest episodes?
I get why you'd think it's bad though! I fast-forward through a lot of the episode and watch the parts with Ressler and the climax so I might not be seeing how bad it is :) But I felt that they had to do something dramatic to write off Liz since I've heard that they needed to get rid of her for a bit because Megan Boone may be taking a maternity leave.
These are gorgeous! I really love the close crops and coloring in general on all of these. #16 and #17 are absolutely beautiful, those are my favorite of the bunch! :)
You did really good! I'm not good with close crops because it takes me ages to figure out which colors to use on those, but I really love what you did here. Like on #13, I would never even attempt it but it's such a great unique crop. Really, great work! :D
Wow these are so gorgeous it's very difficult to pick a favorite I really just love them all. The use of color is great and I really like the cropping but I think what's really cool is the cut out of the red coats with the shadow that's neat!
Here's how I created the shadow (if you want a longer tutorial w/ pictures, let me know but hope this works for now): **make sure that the canvas is at least 400x400. if it's too small, it may be hard to work with (especially in the beginning) 1. duplicate the cutout in a new layer 2. make it completely black 3. move it behind the cutout 4. use the distort feature under free transform to drag it under the cutout. I always make sure that the feet of the shadow match the feet of the cutout and then drag and re-position until I am happy with the result.
DYING for the Missandei icon! She is so gorgeous, and I wish she were given a bigger role on the show. I love the sharpening of her figure and the great texture you can see in her naturally beautiful hair. I always have trouble with people's hair coming out all sharp or too blurry! Her dress and skin tone contrast so well with the vibrant yellow backdrop, too! The close cropped Cersei icon is PHENOMENAL. I love that the lower half of her face is cut off. It seems more dramatic that you only see part of her mouth as she's crying. The dense tone in her hair and the lighting on the right side are immaculate. <3

Yes, I have. I suppose it depends on your point of view. I have found everything after s03e10 hard to take. :)
Again, gorgeous icons.

here's a great tutorial that explains cast shadows in more detail: http://www.photoshopessentials.com/photo-effects/cast-shadow/
