I think PB has a prettier face, but DC has the hotter (hottest) body. I'm gonna go with DC in the end - he's got that flashy, untamed "fuck you all" attitude going on. I was all flustered (in a good way), which PB's Bond couldn't do.
"Christ, I miss the Cold War" was the only good part of that movie. XDDD I nearly died when she said that. It was one of the funniest things I've heard in a long time.
Weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Another newly-baked DC Bond fan among my flisties!!!!
One of my fav moments is when Bond was poisoned. And when he came around, he asks Vesper "are you ok?". Heh.
Did you "like" the torture scene? It really made me wince several times. WHen they tortured previous Bonds, I'd usually roll my eyes and think "get OVER with it".
Well, I think i can guess why your mom preferred the old Bond. Because older people liked him more glamorous, more..."high society" if you get what I mean. Our luck that this new Bond is targeted to attract new fans and renew the franchise!
My favorite Vesper/Bond moment was the shower scene - his hand was HUGE and engulfing her head pigrwahedsalklkgdsakhvs. Fingersucking is way sexy, too.
I usually can't watch torture scenes because I sympathize with the victim too much (unless it's a real bad guy), and I knew it was coming, and was going to brace myself. I expected it to be really bad, but the way DC did it and his smart-alecky comments made it compelling instead of wincing for me. Poor guy, though. Ow.
Because older people liked him more glamorous, more..."high society" if you get what I mean I get what you mean, Pierce was more polished and well-mannered and you're right, older people prefer that instead over this Bond. DC was probably too wild for my mother's taste.
