OK, had the first day today, and it was awesome. The teachers are great, the work looks interesting, and I liked the people in my class. I totally think going back to school was the right decision. Of course, give me a couple months to get saturated and hate it, but for now I am exceedingly happy.

Well, it all begins now. I start full time school tomorrow morning, bright and early with a three hour lecture at 8:30am. I'm a little worried that I'm in over my head, but I'm excited and looking forward to it. I've got a pretty heavy courseload but hopefully I can manage my time properly and stay on top of it.

Mando Diao is my new favourite band in the whole wide world ever. This month, anyway. But seriously, Hurricane Bar is one of the best records I have heard in years. I'm in love. I have been listening to it for two weeks straight.

The new job is going quite well. I'm still really hoping to go to school. I'm playing the waiting game now. I'm in the program but I'm waiting to hear about funding. Obviously, I can't go if I don't get it, and that will suck, but at least I've got a half decent job if it doesn't happen.

i'm not enjoying this early morning thing at all. i know everyone does it but i really, really hate it.

on the other hand, i don't mind my new job too much. just takes a bit long to get there and back.

Last night was a lovely day for a moped ride. I met up with Cat and Katie to talk derby for a bit, and on my way home went to stop at the IGA to pick up some dog food. I have decided to take a new day job for the next while, just because I'm paranoid that I won't get to go to school in January. I thought I'd better cover my bases. So I'm back to working all the freaking time. The new job is a Monday to Friday 9 - 5, something I have never had. I'm not a happy camper. But it's a decent job and I do like the work.
