After 3 weeks with nothing but heat haze to look at the last leg between Tours and Le Havre saw me getting caught in a proper biblical downpour. While wearing Hood Jeans and a BMW Savannah Jacket with all the vents wide open. I'd call that... refreshing...
I like my stich. It's always ready to repel raindrops. So what if I sweat a little?
As long as I keep moving.
These days I've pretty much quit trying to ride a motorized bike in the city (other than getting OUT of it to find the twisties -or back in when I'm done twisting) so when I'm on 2 wheels in town I've got a hardshell on and shorts/hawaiian shirt on and peddling. I don't mind getting wet when I'm in shorts and Hawaiian shirt on. I'm not that kind of Witch...
But I understand why someone would like perfed leather if they are trying to ride a motorized 2-wheeler in traffic. On my pedals I lane-split like a mother-frakker and run all the lights -why not? Everyone else does ;) I can move faster peddling than I can on a motorcycle. Of course, there are no hills in Shitcago :-D
