Wow, I go to the doctors I want, the insurance pays for most of the appointments and tests, ER visits are just the 100$ deductable, my medications are really reasonable.

I think this is part of the resistance to health care reform - there are enough people like me who have good insurance that you don't get a popular groundswell of support. Remember how easy it was to get the national do-not-call list up and running? That was because everyone agreed that telemarketers sucked, and a majority of people were tired of it.
I'l be interested to see what the Congress comes up with.
Hmmm. I don't know. It probably varies a lot, yeah. Maybe there's a certain "don't fuck with me" level you don't want to fall underneath, socioeconomically? I don't know. And maybe you don't want to be a diabetic and have your employer know about it. Hmmm.
