He's got a really difficult style, too. He gets himself in trouble a lot, but he usually comes out ok at the end? There's this thing with him and Oscar Peterson, and Oscar is so much cleaner-sounding, but screw it, I need me some Herbie sometimes?

Every once in a while, Herbie needs to sort of stop for an eighth of a second to figure out what he's going to do next. But seriously, Oscar Peterson DOES NOT MAKE MISTAKES. WHAT THE FUCK? That man was insane.
