Well, I've graded this much in previous semesters, so this isn't new. It's just been long enough that I have to get used to it all over again.

I used to see teaching as the perfect way to get three months of the year off. Now I see it as a way to totally fuck your senses every year. By the time you get used to one thing, something else is happening. Summer is just long enough to totally trick you.

Whatever low-level math they stick me with. Right now, it's applied calc. Well, the actual calc is stripped down a whole lot and tacked on at the very end. Most of it is pre-calc with business applications. They actually skip over that chapter in the book and return to it at the very end, when everyone is burned out and doesn't really think they have to learn it for good.
