They're really funny at first, but I start to feel the angst if I spend more than 10 minutes looking at them. It's strangely poignant, and it makes me think of Jim Davis - and indeed the entire geriatric dailies hegemony - in a totally different light. The distractions are cut away. The result is... sort of Beckett-like.
