turtle crossing the road . . .
I was on my way up to the “nest” at Robinson Preserve recently and I could see a turtle on the road ahead of me. It was pretty good size, maybe 8” long on the shell. I took a few pictures from the car and then went to park so I could try and make sure it got across the road. I was back in less than a minute and he was gone. I looked into the

Thanks, my friend! We're getting lots and lots of rain, after almost a draught-like spring. It's been raining steady since 6 a.m. this morning. Winds aren't too bad for us, maybe gusts to to 25 or 30 mph. It's supposed to be worse at the panhandle.
I've been seeing some of your latest trip. I know I've missed a lot, but I'm looking forward to doing some serious catching up soon.
