Wow... that's crazy! Lucky it didn't hit the house...

Does that mean the dogs have to stay inside now?

Yes we were very lucky. We need a new antenna, that's about it. Cliff has rigged up a makeshift fence so the dogs can go outside, but only if we are with them. The back of the fence is the most worry, as there is a big gap which can't be fixed till the trees are removed, and we cant do that till the insurance people tell us to go ahead with the removal. Also because our damage isn't really threatening our house it isn't high up on the list of jobs that get done first, so at the moment we just have to wait.
