Zazie and Dana do it Bollywood-style!

Yes, I am writing, really, but I need to take a teeny-tiny break to put these two videos up for Penrith, who is a fellow Bollywood fan.

These performances are Bollywood-style, something I find even more interesting. One is by Zazie, a fabulous French star, and one is by Dana International, an Israeli star (and arguably, the musical world's most ( Read more... )

Thank you Ren. These were wonderful. Zazie was hilarious and I remember Dana from Eurovision she made quite a splash. These brought a smile to my face.

Zazie is way way fun... She and Christophe Willem are my favourite French singers.

And Dana... she really is something else. She's still a bg star in Israel, and on the European club scene. Some of her video's are very 'club-worthy' ;D

Glad you smiled dear. Bollywood rocks!

That I am. I wasn't when I was younger, but then I started this pen-pal thing about eleven years ago with a girl living in Mumbai and she became my best friend when I didn't have anyone else and she recommended some films and I fell for them. My love for Aishwarya Rai is older than her international fame.

Refined tastes? If you say so...

As I said, bb, I think "Si je te laisse tomber" is "If I let you down"/"If I got rid of you". Maria's French probably much better than mine, though.

Oops!

Thanks for the catch bb! I just grabbed my old translation and prettied it a bit without checking it over properly.

Ben is staying with me until the end of Friday because he is really quite sick and needs real proper 'nursing' care... which I am providing... So I am writing a bit, but really in drips and drabs.... Many apologies;(

I have a good hour or two tonight, so I'll see what I can get done. I'd like to get 3/5 done and off to you tonight (which is tomorrow daytime to you;)

Poor bbBen! Hope the lil guy gets better soon! Please send him love from Auntie J.

And don't stress about the writing, doll, gosh! I have enough projects on my plate to keep me occupied (Cookleta 2018 is eating my brain, Lambertfic is just catching fire!). You take care of you and your boy, k? *hugs*

Jsyk, I am travelling next week to HK, and may be in New York for a shareholders' meeting, so may be scarce for a couple of weeks. Will letcha know.

OK,bb, thanks for being so understanding. I have to admit when I can get some time to myself, I have mostly just been falling down sleeping. But I am getting a bit done, a little at a time.

I will pass along Auntie J's good wishes, and please travel safely. It's a bit ridiculous, but I worry every time people I know and care about are travelling.

Meanwhile, I am rushing off to read part three of your blazing hot fic, now that I finally have time to read it without little wandering eyes strolling around:-)

Love,
Renata
