so this is a question that has been sort of bothering me lately and i am having problems with both the answer to the question and actually articulating the question so i would appreciate any thoughts the various people in the coffeehouse might have on the question

i think the strongest person is one who makes a choice and fully understands and accepts the consequences. it isn't the path you choose that makes you strong, it's the fact that you chose a route and didn't look back.

so then how do you not look back? and is it wise not to look back and analysis what happened and why and where mistakes come? is not the life unexamined not worth living or whatever the hell the quote is?
