Canaan knew Dairine, and he owes her a lot. She fixed up a way for him to temporarily block the transmission of data from him to Wilhelm, which made him feel less helpless and out of control of himself. He's an organic android with a computer-like brain which is kind of right up her alley. She might be able to tell her own work on that block, as proof she really was here before (besides the fact that, y'know, Ronan wouldn't lie about it)? idk ANYWAYS Canaan liked Dairine a lot, and will probably consider himself still in debt to her even though she doesn't remember what she did for him. o/
