{ COMMENTS } { QUESTIONS } { CRITIQUES }

Am I the best writer of Rem in the world? Gods, no. But I'm willing to bet I'm one of the only ones, eh? That's what talking things out is for. Go ahead, if you've got any questions or comments about how I play Rem or her story that you'd like feedback on, and I'll respond as soon as I can.

I do ask, however, that before you give me any kind of critique or comments keep in mind things that are important to Rem's City development:

→ Rem's story before the SEEDs ships in Trigun Maximum is only alluded to once, and very loosely. As in, she only mentions Alex, her dead husband from when she still lived on Earth. Everything else about her? Is up in the air for fanon to decide.
→ Rem's been in the City for a year, living with curses, in character plots, and in character consequences. This includes, but is not limited to: canon death, City deaths, bad curses that leave a nasty aftertaste, and constant badgering from characters she butts heads with.
→ Rem's also made a few deals with the deities for other people, so let's just go ahead and mention these:
      Hatori's Eye. Rem wanted to fix Hatori Sohma's eye, so she gave up her memory of celebrating Vash and Knives' one year birthdays on the ships.
      Meryl. Meryl? Yeah, she died in City by Legato. Rem wanted to get Meryl's life back, so she traded her entire memory of Alex for it. I could write an entire essay about how this changes Rem's character, but it basically comes down to this: she's lost her will to keep moving forward. She's starting to get it back, thanks to her friends and family unknowingly being there, but it's taking a lot of time.
→ Rem's got a few little traumas as well, thanks to the wonderful City. Let's have a brief list, just in case you ever wonder why she reacts the way she does to certain things.
       fire. | slow repetitive noises, locked doors, dark rooms | being left behind

I think that about covers everything that would have a major impact on Rem at this time. But hey, if you've got anything interesting that you think I should know, or any questions about something, or just some insight? Let me hear it! I'll be glad to hear what you have to say, and if it's any kind of critique, I will definitely take it and keep it in mind.
