For one, I think that vampires are sleezy customers. I haven't seen one come in that didn't want something that isn't both disturbing or questionable. Why would you sell disturbing or questionable things, Jax, you might ask yourself-- Because of vampires, say I. They'll pay out the arse for it. I never said I wasn't greedy.

I've been to France and I met Marie Antoinette's ghost. Or well, her head. Completely by chance, too. She's quite nice, actually. I think the whole losing a body thing has humbled her, though she's lying about how tall she is. If she tells you it's because she used to wear heels, don't believe her, either.

That deep south magic scares the everloving shite out of me. I mean, I deal in simple things, I'll give you that, you know, charms and potions and all that nonsense but necromancy and hoodoo. No, thank you, I'd rather live. It's kind of dirty, isn't it? Creepy. Like Goosebumps on heroin. And speed. Fuck that, if I do say so myself.
