Felix was a morning bird - you had to, if you wanted to catch the best waves. Although this didn't compare to Australia - in his opinion, anyway - he had found a little beach, half hidden, with sweet waves he could ride. There was even a small bar so if he got hungry, he'd hop inside to get some food. He had been surfing all morning, of course. He wasn't the only surfer either, there were a couple of people around with their surf boards, but the sea was wide enough for everyone, since they were but a handful of them.

Although, by the time he felt his cellphone vibrate, he was out of the water, enjoying the late Winter sun by the beach bar, half of a toast shoved in his mouth. He reached for the cellphone and smiled at the message, before typing a text back.

She almost doesn't hear the buzz of her cell phone over the dishwasher, pausing a moment before reaching across the counter to retrieve it. One new message. A second of anticipation-- very cliche, her internal dialogue admits, very teen movie-- before she opens the text to reply. Another moment. Then, oh, relief. So at the very least, if Felix thinks she's a tacky loser, he's being a marvelous gentleman and hiding it quite well. That's encouragement enough.

It's risky-- her sense of balance is a questionable thing, even on a good day-- but it can't be any worse than fighting criminals, and if worse comes to worse, at least her superpower is invisibility. Handy when humiliating yourself. Very handy.

grab ur swimming suit then :P u remember that beach i told u about? im there. do u want a ride?|

The fact he is offering a ride was probably a little confusing, seeing as he had no driving license. He does, however, own his very own bicycle, and he usually uses it to go here and there and everywhere - nevertheless, if she does need a ride, he'll most likely just call a cab to pick her up. He can be quite the gentleman. Probably because his mum would strangle him if he made a girl ride his silly bike with him to the beach.

Felix finishes eating his toast and clicks on send, wiping the crumbs off his hands on his shorts, shaking off a few droplets of salty water out of his shaved hair then. He's feeling pretty good (he usually is), Roni's text cheered him up. He loves hanging out with friends and if said friend is a cute girl like Roni, you can't really blame the teenager for enjoying it a little more.
