[ There is a man appearing somewhere between the ages of twenty-five and thirty-five, pale skin and very blond hair, occasionally looking out the window, occasionally saying hello to passers-by when they least expect it.

There's a good chance Hemi hasn't decided where, exactly, he's going. He might be here just for the ride. ]

[ There are a lot of things he could say to her comment about being too kind; that it isn't much work, really, that she shouldn't mention it, but Heimdall doesn't say any of those things. ] We are friends, Gunny. If not kindness for one's friends, then kindness for whom?

[ He smiles and turns toward her. ]

And here you are, traveling as well. You shall have to tell me what you think of it, after we've arrived.

[ She thinks for a moment and then nods, as if to give weight to what she says. ] I would say kindness to all, save those who we count among our enemies. Perhaps too generous a thought for a sister-weapon, but I will have nothing less.

[ Looking off she pauses to think of this, her face growing a bit uncertain. Gungnir looks back at her companion. ] You do not think it is soft of me, do you? Or unbecoming?

[ There's a slight chuckle at that, but it is not unkind, and he pats her arm in a manner similar to herself earlier. ]

I do not think you could ever be too soft, Gungnir, or unbecoming. You have a very specific understanding of conflict; I would not begrudge you the desire to be kind above all things.

Don't worry so.

[ She smiles again, more shyly this time and then leans forward to him, dropping her voice down into an almost excited whisper. ]

Again too kind, Heimdall.

[ He breaks out in a wide grin and shakes his finger at her. ]
