Global warming is kind of great

We've had an abnormal number of warm, lovely, actual summer-type days this summer. Very odd. Clearly, the bizarre, global warming doom weather that makes every other place horrible makes SF lovely.

Am currently enjoying the lovely breeze through the window and drinking a Pimm's and Reed's ginger ale. Things are basically not so bad.

It is very had to find in the US though. Last summer I found a recipie on teh interwebs that approximated it very closely though.

How do you make yours?

I just bought the Pimm's down at liquor store on steroids, our beloved local chain BevMo. They sell everything there, it's insane. I guess I'm spoiled, since I didn't know it was hard to find Pimm's on these shores.

You're supposed to mix it with traditional British lemonade (the fizzy, lemon soda like stuff) but since we can't get it here, I mix it with Sprite, high quality spicy ginger ale, or a combination of the two with lemon, cucumber, and sometimes an apple slice.
