If it were possible, I would do so. But CLAMP just has to make their relationship as gay as possible by saying that Kurogane becomes Fai's bait and Fai can only drink his blood. It mentioned something about vampire blood working as well, but it was this huge explanation i kinda skimmed over.

Either way, they felt like saying "FAIXKURO 4EVER!? NAO DO IT VAMPIRE STYLE <3"
