Dialogue: Sharktotree

The scene: Our living room, the day after our annual tree-trimming party. It is the first time PATOOT has seen the tree since she and her adorable but short friends trimmed the bottom branches last night before bedtime. After the kiddies went to bed, grown-up shenanigans ensued

Thanks! I think the shark is growing on the kids, too. At least - they haven't demanded I take him down yet.

And thank you! She looks so grown-up to me sometimes...I have to remind myself she's five! ;)

She does look very grown up! Five is very sophisticated. When I compare the preschoolers at my job with the afterschool kids I'm always like, WOW.

She seemed to turn into a little grown-up over night. One day she's this grubby little kid, the next day, BAM. Fashion Model. Of course, the day after that she's all nice and grubby again. :)

Don't fret! Sharktotree is still holding strong. Either the kids got used to it - or they are so small they have forgotten he's up there.
