To the five chorus boys (and our audience) --
This post is mostly plotting goodness for Vayne, Sherlock, Aziraphale, Xigbar, and Kurt who signed up (whether they like it or not) for the job of Male Chorus Singers for this month's production at the theatre.
So, hi guys! Here's what's all going on with this idea. (More or less.)
The Royal Oak Theatre Company (which is one of the most high-end, human theatres on the ship and hoity-toity to match) is putting on the musical "The Sorcerer" by Gilbert and Sullivan. Its first run was 14 years before Irene's canon point, which is to say she knows this one. And she's determined that it will be awesome and that you guys will do your part to make it so.
The Company hired you because this is a show requiring more male cast members than they have have at the moment. And they've passed off the supervision of your rehearsals to Irene. (Lucky all of us.) The director and stage manager will pop by to make sure everything is going okay, but the repetition of it all is down to her.
As for a log, what I'd like to suggest is this. Everyone will be at rehearsal for this scene, where all the townspeople awaken after having drunk the love potion and start pairing off with random people.
I'll start out the log, everyone else can randomly pair up as you like in separate 'sections' and do as you like, and Irene will jump in (basically threadjack? XD) you as needed.
I can put that up tomorrow, if that sounds like a plan. o/
By the way, it is strongly recommended that you practice the choreography and songs at home. (Have fun with that.)
