why you should be nice to the thor elevators

Some of you might have been around when Dite locked various characters in closets around the ship, in her own twisted version of Seven Minutes In Heaven. If you're really ancient, you might have been around when the Babel Fish went on strike. Taking a bit of inspiration from these plots, as well as some comments that have been made about utilizing the ship more, I bring you:

The Great Thorian Elevator Strike
Ever notice how pretty much every month there are a few standard jobs on the missions posts? One in particular has been around for a long time, the Elevator Therapist. Why would elevators need therapists? Because the elevators on the Thor are kind of sentient and really don't like how under appreciated they are. Thus, they have decided to go on strike. On a decided day, at a decided hour, every single elevator on the Thor is going to shut their doors and freeze in place, trapping their passengers inside.

This is going to run from Thurs, Nov 3rd, through Sun, Nov 6th. Each day, the elevators will stop at a randomly decided time, for the span of two hours. The other twenty-two hours of the day they will be running as normal. Characters can sit on their thumbs and wait for the elevators to resume running, try to negotiate with the elevators (they've all be strictly instructed not to talk to the hostages though), or try to escape. Please, do not harm the elevators in your escape attempts.

This is an easy way to jump start some CR, or aggravate some already existing CR.

TL;DR VERSION
• Characters will be stuck for 2 IC hours. If you would like to be stuck for longer, it will be attributed to a standard physical malfunction.
• Characters will be released automatically at the end of the 2 hours.
• Characters can get stuck more than once, just on different days (statistically, this is unlikely but not impossible).
• I suggest that groups be kept to 4 characters or less, but use your own judgement if you want to have more.

Use this post to get plotting! Throw up which characters you want to get stuck and look for characters to get them stuck with. If you don't care either way and just want to be randomized, say as much! Someone might want CR with you.
