Exciting post. You look extremely happy to have a cake. It looks especially delicious as well. Your trip to the Hare Krishna temple looked much better than the Lakshmi temple. It reminded me of the extravagance of the temple we visited in japan, the one with the thousand images of Canaan. I was wondering how you pronounce Kannada. Is it Kan'na'da, or Kan'a'da? Or something wild and crazy that I would never guess because it's pronunciation is completely different than it's spelled, like let's say the word ghouxylyt would be pronounced "Philip".

Adric is refering to the Sanjusangen-do. I can't speak Kannada myself, so I pretty much have no idea how to say it, but I have some second hand evidence that the accent should be on the second syllable and both n's should be pronounced separtely: kan na' da.

I am happy to see that your mess is slightly less so. Although box springs are nice, a mattress without plastic and with a sheet (which I guess is the dark blue blob in the picture) can be even better.
