So, tonight I got to send my bi/tri/far-too-many-times-annual plea for a ride home. I know, I know, I should've made "Living close to me" criteria for friendship when I first started at Calvin, but alas, I did not and now I am stuck with begging people I happened to go to the same high school with for a spot in their backseat. Job hunting is hard...and really scary. I wish you luck with it. I'd also advice you to start ASAP. It is good that you have a career center though. I don't even know if my school has something like that, but I kind of doubt it. We're usually on our own when it comes to that sort of thing. x.X

Um...there's nothing in particular I can really think of right now to bring home. I'll let you know if I think of something.

I know this may not be much comfort now, but it really is true that the worst thing is the anticipation of going out into the world after school. Once you are doing something about it you will feel better (which is why getting started on that resume is a good idea)!

I always wish I got to more plays at Calvin. The ones I did see were very impressive (particularly Richard III).

-chews on you- job hunting sucks. But you gotta do it. At the very least you know where to start. I have a resume before college because i needed one for scholarships.
You'll manage! You're a likable person and that really helps!!!!

Yeah, job hunting works better if you don't leave it til the last week of the semester. ^^ At my college, you could schedule interviews with companies through the career opportunities office, but often the companies would only be available for a day or two because they had to fly people in. So yeah, get started now, keep an eye out for job fairs or career advice seminars, and if you need help with a resume give me a hollar!
