1. I'd change the focus of getting new talent off of crap reality shows like American Idol and The Voice and start heading out to clubs and seeing what talent is really there.

2. Stop the focus on image. Prancing around with a bra etc and having your voice distorted because you can't really sing is just as bad as the whole Milli Vinilli thing.

3. Make sure that the albums that are released are worth the price of the entire album. 2 good singles does not make an album.

4. Pay more attention to artists that are releasing their albums at their own expense. Guess what..these people usually are very talented.

5. Promote established artists, just because they've been around the block doesn't mean they don't deserve some TLC from the labels.

01. the mediocre music coming out of the industry
02. axe all the reality tv music shows
03. promote the musicians that are actually talented.
04. make it less about image and more about sound
05. stop the fast production of albums. Yes, you're worried the music will be leaked, I get that but that doesn't mean you have to fast track the music -the result being shoddy sounds, poor quality and mediocre music.

You know what's funny..in the 60s artists put out albums once or twice a year and they were good. Now we're lucky if an artist puts out an album every two years....
