Re: the latest Buffyverse fandom kerfuffle

No warnings?  No reading.
No pairings? No reading.  (Unless it's gen.)

Sorry.

As a relative newcomer to fanfic, there are way too many unread fics out there for me to spend my time on stories I'm not going to finish because of a pairing I find unbelievable, or, worse yet, a category I'm not prepared for.  I'm a moody reader.  Sometimes an unusual ( ( Read more... )

As a serious reader and recommender of fics, I also very much prefer accurate warnings, ratings and labels. Somewhere in the Sentinel archive called 852 Prospect, there's something which clames to be a 147K PWP; I'll have to be damned bored before I go see if that's accurate or not.

Julia, short on Buffy fics these days

This story is all kinds of wrong to me, but it's one of those that I've got to rec when I see you say you don't like mpreg.

Also? Mpreg is seriously not one of my kinks. Not so much with the ick, more with the omfg!ouch!
:)

I couldn't continue the one I was doing past the point of Xander staring at Spike's gravid belly, saying "You ate a baby?"

Anyhow, enough babbling and on with the rec!
Felt or Fur: The Cautionary Tale of Puppet Angel by spikendru.

It's a Nina/Puppet!Angel, PG-13 Mpreg.

With humour.

*snerk* Okay, that was cute, I gotta admit. The vampuppetude mitigates the ick factor immensely.

("You ate a baby?" Is it possible to snicker & cringe at the same time?)

Thanks for starting my day off with a giggle!

I have to admit that I did once read an mpreg story that was so funny I actually did laugh out loud - but (a) I can totally recognise your dislike of the concept - and (b) I couldn't reccommend it anyway because I am not organised enough to ever bookmark stories!!

How nice to see that you have friended me!

Arrgh - I should have read the comments before I commented! It was the puppet Mpreg by spikendru that crippled me with the giggles!

But - yay - I can go read it again now - so even more thank you for friending me!

And thank you also for the information about Ick - I love facts like that. Actually I must tell my daughter - she loves them also. One day I will do a 'useful facts' post.
