[Well hey there, Mayfield! It's been a while since you saw this girl, yeah? For reasons unknown to her, she's been droned for a while and has only recently come out of it.

And she's starting to wonder if she's the only sane one once again. She picks the phone up and is quiet for a minute or so, wondering how to phrase this]

[ He still can't communicate properly -- plus, he can't get rid of the freaking smiling -- but he decides it might be appropriate to pay Chrome a visit.

Sometime around half an hour after her phone call goes out, she will find Hibari just sitting in her living room (knocking, what is that?), looking awfully cheerful. ]

[Okay, to say she's surprised to see Hibari is a bit of an understatement. She stands there staring at Hibari for at least 30 seconds (29 seconds too long), before slowly approaching. She wonders if he's been droned again]

...Hibari-san...?

[ At this point, he's gotten used to the lack of speech. In response, he pulls out a sheet of notebook paper out of his pocket that reads: "I can't speak."

As expected, his handwriting is rather sharp and bold and just a tad on the messy side. ]

[She walks closer to peer at the paper.] Oh.

[She glances to him and frowns] ...Why are you smiling?

Everything's fine.

But everyone's acting odd. That doesn't seem very fine to me...

That's because this place is full of morons who probably screwed up over Christmas or something.

[She not sure how to respond to that. Time to change the subject] What about Boss? Is he alright?
