But I mean, was she just kidding? If she said it as a joke, she probably wasn't thinking about all the things you listed that she supposedly knows. I know I've said a bunch of insensitive things (purposefully or not) when I was joking and people got offended, and I'm like whaaat I was jk. lol.

Yea, you probably want to talk to her. Sometimes people are bitchy because they are bothered by something. So maybe shes being snappy because of something or maybe not. If she is really your friend, I'm sure she didn't mean to hurt you. People say and do stupid things without thinking how it affects others.

Oh man, I heard that, it was a total "what?" moment. Like, that's not even a real big mistake or something, it's a totally minor one, people who've been speaking English all their lives make bigger mistakes all the time (I know I do). And even if it was an actual mistake, that'd totally be a completely inappropriate thing to say. Hell, I'm really impressed by ANYBODY who can speak more than one language, I butcher English, let alone being fluent in anything else...

I hear people make a lot of mistakes or like spell things wrong and English is their native language and I'm not like GASP! because English is a hard language. It has too many rules with exceptions so I completely understand.
