Thank you, honey! My work mostly consisted of finding the right costume for Spike.
Of course, you can use the manip. If you want, I could send you a .pds file so that you would work with separate levels. PM me your e-mail, and I will upload the file (~7 mb) and will send you the link.
Jeez, Elena! Having this in mind will make my heart break harder when the comic blows it again. (Not that I'm cynical. Nope.) Just imagine if this had been the cover of, say, #10 or something. This, along with Echo's breakdown in "Epitaph #2" (which rightly should have been Buffy's speech a few days post-"Chosen"), would be giving me the emotional responses I've come to expect/crave/need from BtVS. Once again, fandom comes through.
Nobody better ever take your Photoshop away. You rock it like a wild, rocking thing!

I'm 100% cynical about the outcome in the comics. As long as Joss doesn't force Spike to fall in love with a Bangel mystical child, I can deal with s8. And even it happens, I think it would be for the better: finally I'll be able to cut the comics out of my heart and focus on the TV show again.

Oh, don't rub salt into the wound... :)

Somebody should write an essay on the similarities between Echo/Paul and Spuffy. It seems that Joss has channeled into the other couple what he wanted to do with Spuffy.
Can you iconize this? You basically just illustrated why we stick with these terrible comics that seem to make every misstep possible: because we love these two characters, and Jo Chen has fully illustrated what I, at least love about them: their resilience in the face of being beaten down. Beautiful manip, and you've fed a kink I've had in my soul since first glimpsing that Buffy cover that matched the Spike cover so well.

Poor Buffy, poor Spike.
The fandom will find a way to comfort them... :)
