That has to be one of the best lines I've read. It's so... new. The End of the World As We Know It came and went and... it didn't really matter. Heh. Did i mention I loved the idea?
He should patrol the Hellmouth on a dragon's back. To ensure the world's peace. And take the Slayer as his partner. And they should patrol all night long because, you know, evil is afoot.

Wow. Thank you for a detailed feedback. I have to confess I was a bit nervous about Of Dragons and Vampires.
First, because I rarely see funny BA fics and I don't know if writing them funny is a faux pas. But I totally can't write angst, whether I write BA of Spuffy.
Second, because it's a story where people often say one thing and mean another. I'm so glad that Buffy's fear of looking fat worked for you! She wasn't thinking about her looks in ages, and, suddenly, started to care - why on earth did it happen? :)))
Dawn. Have I mentioned that I adore her? The Dawn part was written on the momentum from my Seasonal Spuffy fic, where Dawn has perfectly took care of herself and destroyed Glory while everybody else were behaving like idiots. :)

I remember reading somewhere that all great film directors are failed master criminals. It's a joke, of course, but every joke has a bit of truth to it! :)
And the funny B/A things... It's not a faux pas... it's just, well. Joss just didn't intend B/A to be funny, I guess. It's difficult to get them there without completely wreaking canon. ;) But then, it's difficult to get them anywhere besides GWA. *siiiiigh* Did you know that every Christmas I ask for happy B/A icons? Because happy B/A scenes are almost IMPOSSIBLE to find. *sigh*
