There's a story in the New York Post saying that Elon and I settled for a "post-nup pay-out" of $750,000. I have no idea where they got this number but it's not true. I've said this before but I will say it again: though my own situation is several orders of magnitude smaller (financially) than yours, I've been going through similar issues, similar emotions, similar re-examining of narratives...and I so thank you for your wise and thoughtful words. I know exactly what you mean. Money does help, a lot: but there is absolutely a limit. And holding onto that understanding is difficult, and powerful, and wise. So: go you. :-)

Nice you got a Roadster out of it, I want a red one! alas they're over $200,000 australian, so i'll keep dreaming and drooling on the website.

material goods aside. best wishes to you and your ex for a hopefully continuingly decent relationship as divorced parents. an ending is good for all. in the end the lawyers are the ones making bank off you both.
