I'm not familiar with the fandoms of the first two but I ate the last one with a metaphorical spoon.

Normally AUs get on my nerves a tad as the plot events are usually divergent but then the characterisation is too, ack! But this was highly enjoyable. And normally I only watch Teen Wolf for the Stiles. And there's no Stiles. But I loved it!

Lydia is equally as awesome as she is in canon, Derek suddenly has sense for once, and your Allison is just terrific. I enjoyed the Sahara-like dryness of the humour ("You're not making it obvious enough that this is a trap," Derek said. "Next time, try neon."), Lydia being terrifying as usual ("Sorry," Lydia said like a girl who had never once apologized sincerely. "I thought that was where we were headed."), and this in particular: Lydia talked about who sat at which cafeteria table and how she hated all of them, and Allison daydreamed to the sound of her voice, wishing she could know anyone long enough to hate them. Was that the start of Allison's plan of escape?

Thank you! I'm glad this AU worked for you - I was trying to keep it as close to the spirit of canon as I could while acknowledging how the different circumstances would shape the characters differently.

I've seen "fire" in reference to arrows as long ago as Shakespeare and as recently as The Hunger Games, so I hope your relatives will forgive me the poetic license.
