I don't think that Alex's injury is a definite career ender, he rehabbed his first one rather quickly and he was giving classes and performing by March. If he can rehab this one as well as he did his first one, he could get back into dance form, probably not with a ballet company but a modern dance company for sure.

Yeah, I think Thistle was referring to his future in ballet, not necessarily his future in dance as a whole. But she thinks that if his tendons keep snapping like that, there might be some underlying problem.

I sure hope it's Melanie or Sasha! Melanie's my absolute favorite, but Sasha's done some great stuff, too, and I like her core personality a lot. I like most of the guys that are left but I agree that none of them are quite as earth-shattering as the best of the women, though Ricky's gravity-defying solos are pretty impressive. I, too, preferred Alexander to Mitchell; Mitchell just hasn't made much of an impression on me. Ah well.

Ricky is better in solos than in his partnered performances, but maybe that will change now that he'll have different partners. I love Sasha and Melanie about equally but find myself voting for Melanie more often. Tadd is a really impressive dancer, especially considering his pre-show background, but for whatever reason he's just not as spectacular as the girls.
