I am still amused that you gave Kris amnesia by having a speaker fall on him. And that Adam shamelessly takes advantage of Kris' amnesia. I love the nod to the AMAs in the restoration fic. And that there's a time and place in history where current day Adam actually fits in without you needing to change his outfits or his act. And just guh at Kris deliberately goading Adam into using his powers for lust. A+ song choice too.

Heh, the Restoration one isn't so much worldbuilding as transcribing my dissertation notes. The amnesia, on the other hand - I think that's about as much of that genre as I can figure out how to write.

Also, amenesia fic is the best thing *ever* in the fanfic universe.

I feel like all three would have been awesome longer fics, but I also kind of like them as short snippets too. More room for the imagination to play. Yay!

Yay, so glad you liked these! You are a terrible influence an excellent cheerleader.

I agree that all would work as longer fics, but I'd probably never get around to them - it was fun to dip my toes in the universes instead. And then return to play in them later if I feel like it.

Meh. Long fic is over rated. I recently sent a snippet to my betas and they said they'd like to see something longer, and I'm all, "Meh, I just don't want to." I'm sort of done with it, when I'm done with it.

And if I had the ideas for a longer story or if I knew where it was going, I would have written it. I don't - so this is how it is.

Anyway, sometimes (a lot of the time) less is more. Especially if you've got nothing else to say. I like these snippets on their own. It's like a tease or a flirt - and flirting is fun.

The problem with long fic is I see some shiny thing over there, or I have to do my actual job, or I get jossed. And then I don't finish it. Short fic, it's done and it gets to be on the internets. And that makes Adam Lambert happy.
