I loved this story. I don't read much femmeslash, and if I did I doubt this would be a pairing I would read regularliy. Like most people at some point I watched ER and now I catch a few epsisodes a year. I never liked Susan Lewis, but you made her likebale. I really liked the way you handle her balance of her relationship with Kerry with her friendship with Mark (I character I really hate and one of the few I was glad to see die). Her conversation with him about how his treatment of Kerry changed her views of him was just wonderful. I love that she waited until he couldn't talk back to say those things. I thought the progession of their relationship and the attepts to hide it fit both characters. Just lovely all around.

And you fixed Mark's funeral! It drove me nuts that their was no explanation as to why Doug and Carol weren't there. Obviously they couldn't get the actors back, but would have killed them to throw a line giving a reason why.

Thank you so much! It's really fun to have my new fandom friends see what I was writing when I was just starting to be active in fandom -- it's like showing you pictures of an apartment I don't live in anymore, or something.

I actually wrote this during season 8, and I'm pretty sure I wrote the funeral before it took place on screen. I never liked Mark much, but I wanted to give him a noble death.

I just found this. Don't know ANYTHING about ER, but I'm always to happy to find well done femslash! Although, yeah, this is good but from what I've read of your newer work you've gotten even better.
