I don't think you should be unhappy with this! You write both of their voices really well. I'm pin-pointing Weevil's voice as being especially good, because not a lot of people write him in a way that I can buy. But I bought this. I like how self-aware and perceptive you wrote him, because I think he definitely is those things. So, yeah. Weevil's ugliest prediction for the future being his own, and also the entire paragraph that this sentence was taken from were my favourite parts: Logan kept talking like he knew he was being ignored but didn't want to open himself up to a conversation he wasn't in control of.

I have a feeling there's going to be even less Logan/Weevil-ish fic to be found this hiatus than normal, considering the way the season ended, which is really too bad. I loooooove them so.

You're not happy with this? I think it's great! You totally nail how these characters are sympathetic, but at the same time complicated and not always all that nice. Your Weevil voice is fantastic, and the interplay between him and Logan is spot on.

Weevil's ugliest prediction was his own. Homeless until his trial or until the PCHers took him out, in prison for the rest of his life. What he deserved, where he belonged. The only way out was to stay one step ahead, to have enough on everyone that they were afraid to touch you.

So fascinating! This totally made me want to see what Weevil does next. It just seems like a simmering mess that's going to explode in the most interesting of ways.

The birthday wishes are totally heartfelt. It makes me really happy that we've been able to stay on each other's fannish radar for so long, and despite the fandom drift.

I enjoyed this. I've been wanting to read some fic where Logan went to jail to visit Weevil, and this definitely fits the bill. I thought Logan and Weevil's interactions seemed believable and made me laugh. I do think it ended rather abruptly - or maybe that's just me, because I wanted to read more. Not that that's a bad thing, though.

First of all, YAY LOGAN/WEEVIL!!! There's been a serious drought lately, despite the everpresent source material. Logan the omnisexual flirts with Weevil in every scene they're in together. And I too think he'll be the one to bail him out. Who else has the dough?
Second, I would very much like to see this continued. It's a juicy setup, and the potential L/Wness should definitely become reality. Nicely done, nothing to be ashamed of.

Ah, this is wonderful. The tension between the two of them is really great, and you got Weevil's pragmatic, cynical voice just right. I just wish there were more of this!
