I can't get past "tenderoni" (which my spell checker keeps trying to turn into "tenderloin").

Yeah. Not quite as appetizing as it was meant to sound, I think.

That picture tries so hard to be appetizing, but it just makes me hurk. And that was before knowing it was evil, hated liverwurst!

I know that you can't argue taste and many people just love it, including my dad. He used to eat liverwurst and onion on rye, chowing down like it was the best thing ever. Then there were those parties where everyone brought this one delicacy: A tube of liverwurst surrounded by cream cheese in a large loaf form and crackers. As a fan of cream cheese on crackers, I would try to scrape the cream cheese away with the Ritz, always dreading when I got to that pinkish brown in the middle... Ugh!

LOL. I don't know what it was about that appetizer, but every party seemed to have one, growing up.

Ha! I can definitely see why liverwurst is a love-it-or-hate-it thing, but even this liverwurst lover doesn't want to eat it baked on top of spaghetti.
