I like Revolution way more than it actually deserves (it's so obvious no one involved actually THOUGHT about the worldbuilding besides "we need an excuse for the aesthetics"), and I'm confident the only reason Ben lasted 5 minutes after the blackout is Rachel. I have no idea how Aaron survived. (I can't hold things against Charlie or Danny because as near as I can tell Ben did his best to make them utterly ignorant of the world and tried to chain them to the house or something.)

The fun of mocking the poor decision-making skills/bad parenting/suicidal naïveté of the Revolution characters is a reason in itself to watch the show. Something to keep me going while I wait to see if it improves.

I like Charlie and am interested in seeing how she grows, and it has a lot of potential for female bonding, but mostly I just find it entertaining (not always for the reasons it intends) and it indulges my longing for shows that let me obsessively come up with 50 theories that will all be wrong. 9I've also been fond of the Charlie/Miles relationship type trope since I was wee, so there's that too.)
