I was a teenager during the 70's. What's really frightening is that I see some of those styles sneaking back in today's clothing and I'm just "WHY!".

Sadly, I am certain Don will be sporting long sideburns in the end. Probably some sort of hideous, earth-toned plaid as well.

So many things began to improve for so many people between 1960 and 1970, but alas the clothes were not among them!

I haven't even watched the new episodes, but I'm dreading them shoving all the women in maxi skirts and peasant blouses. Peggy'll go first, I bet. It kind of does tarnish the appeal.

It's true. Women's fashion has definitely never recovered. But they even ruined the men's suits with those giant lapels.

I remember my mother in those awful maxi skirts, mostly in ugly earth tones and worn with coordinating turtlenecks. And don't get me started on my father's sideburns.
