No, I don't make them. I don't understand why anyone, anywhere, ever would make them (with the possible exception of some of the war-ration recipes), which is why I find them so fascinating.

However! I really should make a few of the worst ones (the WWII ration lima bean and peanut butter loaf and the molded salad that contained both blue cheese and limeade, for example), take pictures, and actually taste test them. Make H taste them, too, to pay him back for giving me this cold.

I can't tell you that, but as soon as I saw its clever - and by "clever" I mean "appalling" - use of Jell-O, I knew it belonged here.
