No one would marry that little shit Jimmy Olsen when she could have him. No one. (YES, I'M STILL BITTER.)
Anyway, the Doctor, while not a serial killer, won't marry Amy because she's not Rose, and there's no real prospect of sexytimes either. I'd find a third option if I were her.
I am hoping that it was just this season's way of putting and end to the previous Doctor's hang ups. The whale was released from its prison and now hopefully the PLOT is released by that particular, uh, prison.
New pattern: Cups. Two episodes two cups. Cups = Bad Wolf!!!
Me too. I'm hoping its like post-War/post-ration books good times. Enjoy the universe again, please. I am an old school fan and while that PTSD thing seemed to somewhat work with Nine it didn't work with Ten and years of it was sucking the life out of the essence of DW. I know for some new fans that PTSD was the essence of DW, but for me I signed on to the original show and missed it dearly.
I'm here via who_daily, and could I just say "YES, THIS" to this comment, please? The damaged, PTSD-ridden Ninth Doctor was somewhat interesting (it was a bit amusing for him to wear the thuggish black leather, as if telling the universe it could sod off), but after his death wish got him the ending he wanted, why did the Tenth Doctor have to be such a lame, crybaby jerk? "I used to have so much mercy." Yeah, right. (The Doctor wants peace, but has he ever been terribly good at mercy? The Seventh Doctor blew up Skaro...) Also, his whining about not wanting to go just before his regeneration; no other Doctor ever went on like that (except for the Second Doctor protesting what the Time Lords were doing to him, but that made sense
