Alas, that was the stuff that drove me crazy about BSG. I miss pilots and flippy ships! (Which, to be fair, they never promised us on this show.)

If we could fast-forward to the Cylon rebellion, I would be all over this show.

I have enjoyed Caprica but completely~ against my will. It's on the verge of getting really good, just mediocre, or awful, however. And it will on spin on, I think, tonight's episode featuring Tamara Adams and hopefully resolving a bit of Polly Walker's M.O. (idkkk).

It's compelling in different ways than BSG; it's a bit CWish.

THERE IS NO ABUSIVE SOCIOPATHIC MALE TO CLING TO YET, however. Ughhhh.

I WATCH CW SHOWS. UGH.

I WOULD LOVE THIS SHOW IF IT WOULD GIVE ME A SOCIOPATHIC MURDERER/GOOD GIRL OTP.

ME TOOO.

There are opportunities for such otps, but the pairing isn't awesome? The two besties are Lee's gay great uncle Sam Adama who is a criminal and a lover and a father figure and I love him so much and Lee's aunt Tamara Adams who is another GRAMMA CYLON. TAMARAAAAA.

anyway. watch it and report back!

WARNING AGAIN! I like it against my will, so my expectations are pretty low. And I fast forward through a lot of scenes featuring the blonde wife.

I've seen the pilot and the first two episodes, and so far I mostly want to smack the various characters upside the head. Happened a lot faster than it did with BSG. Sigh.

Caprica gets better each week. It's not on BSG level but I really like it. You haven't seen Tamara go all bad ass yet in V-world, have you?

I've only seen the pilot and the first two eps.

Keep going. It does get better. Sam Adama and Tamara are the most interesting characters on the show.

The last three episodes are really good. I say plow through them. The better characters are getting more time than the annoying ones which is making a lot of difference. I am finding I am thinking less of BSG when I watch and more of ROME.

Rome, huh? Sounds promising.

I don't even associate it with BSG. It's really the best thing to do as there are no pilots. Pilots was BSG for me. This is just an entirely different show with a bunch of Rome and Deadwood people in it. And I like the Adamas. And I actually like the VR stuff at once. Not Zoe (she is way too Degrassi for me), but the other kids later on are good.

Pay no attention to my answers. I just clicked the ones that sounded prettiest! (I saw a promo pic, but that was all.)

Being an obsessee of a certain hotass paramedic. I should know a little of even BSG, but I only know... he had nice arms back then too.

SO my ultimate wisdom is this, watch if you like apples, and don't if you don't!

You should watch BSG up until Crashdown gets killed off. It was still really, really good when SW was on the show.
