I think this is in serious running for my favorite FS ep ever. And that tag? My favorite Farscape moment bar none. John really gives away his soul at that moment, all to get Aeryn back.

It was a long time coming, but I had a feeling he'd eventually have to make a choice like that.

That tag ripped my heart out of my chest, held it still beating in front of my eyes, and then devoured it. And made me like it.

Because yeah, and wow, and God, this is one of my favourite eps ever.

He is no longer exactly what one would call sane

Yes, and I think it's one of the most powerful things about BB's performance - even when John isn't actively bouncing off the walls, you get that sense that stuff has broken inside, that he's damaged and changed in ways which aren't ever going to fix. Not sane anymore.
