Someone else on my flist linked to the original essay and I foolishly clicked on it. I can't believe he cited Dirk Benedict's stupidity over Starbuck being a girl. That's really the wrong thing to reference if you're actually trying to make a point rather than come off as an idiot. (Not that he needed any help on that front.)

I'm kind of embarassed that my first reaction to that essay was to be offended at the factual errors, before I even realized what he was actually saying. It was the Dirk Benedict part that finally tipped me off. *facepalm*
