Dollhouse: 40% less skeevy but still crap. Turns out that the skeeviness wasn't its biggest problem. Though now it has moved into hilarious bad territory, especially when Faith Echo got all up in Star's face.

Wasn't that awesomely bad? All of my doubts about Eliza Dushku's acting have been proved correct. Yet I cannot stop watching. I think Joss put crack in it or something.

ED is just so awful, I am not sure I have words for it. I never thought I'd say this, but she was less convincing in this than she was as super intellectual hostage negotiator.

I think this might be it for me, though.

My unspoiled (and planning to remain so - spoil me and DIE) guess is that Kara's long-lost father was Daniel the mysterious and supposedly dead-for-real Cylon (so Hera wasn't the first successful human/Cylon breeding after all).

... Okay, I love this idea. I mean, what other reason (other than crappy writing) would there be to bring up Daniel so late into the game unless he served some purpose to the greater story? I hope you're right, because that would be pretty freaking cool.

It would explain a lot.

I felt really sorry for Tyrol, actually. He's been carrying a torch for Boomer since the first season when Papadama made them break up and she seems to have guilelessly exploited that on so many levels.

And I wanted someone to stand up and say "trying people for treason is not the answer, Cylon brethren" in that scene where Tyrol was pleading for Boomer's life. Like, didn't humanity learn anything from Baltar's trial debacle? Wouldn't that have been a useful parallel? Not even a peep came out of anyone. (Lee would've been useful to say something here, but he's busy doing nothing much, apparently.)

I'm still waiting to see exactly what Kara Thrace and her Special Destiny will play in the final episodes, though!

I used to love the Chief, but something snapped in me during his rant about Cally.

I think the writers enjoy tormenting us by depriving us of sufficient amounts of Lee. Or just that they're nowhere near as clever as they think they are. Or both. Hmph.

Dollhouse, has improved a fair bit, but nothing can make up for the talentless Eliza Dushku *errr* I hope they will stretch the story line so that characters may remember some of their true personality otherwise the show is pointless to me. You can not root for personalityless characters!!

Terminator lacked Derek, maybe I would not have yawned so much if only I had seen him on the screen, quite disappointing! and Lena Heady is too skinny!

BSG, wow, LOVED it, piano guy was indeed reminiscent of head!Leoben to me, there was such wise gentleness. I knew he was her father, such touching scenes, loved that.
I hope Sam will wake up soon ( only 3 eps to go, waky waky) I used to find him dull, but making him a Cylon changed that, I miss him !
Boomer, such an evil manipulative bitch, wow, I am shocked!

Dollhouse would still be a bad show with a more talented actress playing Echo, but it never stood a chance with ED. Whatever Joss sees in her, I don't. Maybe he should consider branching out a bit more when it comes to casting his shows?

Yes, Sam turning out to be a Cylon was the best thing that could have happened to his character. I'm never going to be much of a Sam fan, but that development made him really matter.
