It's the stupidity. You know he's JUST TOO DUMB to dislike. Really, though, he usually feels more like he's bad because of his environment and those he follows, as opposed being inherently bad.

Does Marian have more brainpower than Robin and all his men put together? Methinks the answer is YES.

Of course she does. They have slightly less than one brain combined, she has about a brain and a half.

• The seven Knights Templar are supposed to be all menacing, but I keep waiting for them to do something Pythonesque, which kind of ruins the menacing bit.

The awesome crack that is Monty Python has ruined many a serious moment.

I think that may be it. He's tall, pretty, looks dashing, has a nice, deep voice, and is dumber than a box of hair, so you can't really blame him for being a bad guy. A smart woman could have him wrapped around her finger in no time. Sigh!

yup, that's it exactly. you know that all it would really take is a woman to take him in hand(or, for that matter, a good boss) and he'd probably end up an ok guy.

He also has tragic reasons (as we discover in the last series) for being such a wanker. Plus the sheriff does treat him bad, so it's hard not to feel sorry for him.

Sinus problems are never good news...unless they are in replace of tooth problems. Yay for sinuses!

I've not gone past episode four yet. We shall see what Netflix has in store for me. I do feel like it is redeeming Robin Hood once again. I was so put off from the other one that I had reverted back to the Errol Flynn version to find one I still had fond thoughts of.
