I'm really starting to despise the bulk of SPN fandom (my delightfully sane flist excepted).

Apparently I don't hate myself vaginas women enough to really fit in.

I've been staying away from the fandom in LJ for the past week or so, mainly because of the spoiler that's been spreading like the plague so I have no clue what you're referring to. Care to fill me in? :-)

It's the same casting-spoiler thing, but people just will not let it die. It was the umpteenth internet-petition post against said casting spoilers that set me off.

I just want to shake some people and tell them to put on their big girl panties and get over it already.

I agree. I've actually had to kind of shut off all the SPN places I go, which pisses me off. I LIKE reading stuff on SPN. And now I can't because of the enormous bitch-fest.

My absolute FAVORITE bitch right now is those all offended that Samantha Ferris's beauty is being belittled. This is the CW! She's the age of the parents of their target market! Supernatural is not responsible for changing culturally accepted views on youth and beauty. They're barely getting the ratings to stay afloat. Quit making this a damn CAUSE people. I don't see anyone bitching that Sam and Dean are played by hot young boys instead of people with average looks or 50 year old men.

I keep checking to see if it has died down, but it just keeps going and going! I miss reading my SPN comms, but I don't need the extra-crispy insanity that is infesting them at the moment.

I know. I keep checking TWOP: SPN Spoilers for new spoilers. But alas, it's all still bitch bitch bitch. Same shit, different day.

I find it entirely amusing, as not a single person on my flist has bitched about this. I'm wondering why? Is it my almost total lack of wincesters? Do my friends just care less? Etc.
